Impact of Psychological Capital

By The Galliard Team

On level of engagement and intent to leave a company

Psychological capital (Psy Cap) can be best defined as an overall positive state of mind. There are four main aspects:  1) hope, 2) self-efficacy, 3) optimism and 4) resiliency.

All four of these aspects have an impact on workplaces relationships and engagement levels at work. Psy Cap can be developed to prevent burnout and turnover in all businesses and organizations. Family businesses are not immune to the level of disengagement experienced in many companies.

This webinar covers:

  • Recent thinking about the four key areas of Psychological Capital
  • Relevance to engagement at work
  • Leadership derailment and the effect on teams and cost to organizations
  • What can be done to develop greater levels of Psy Cap.
